Privacy policy

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you complete the assessment we collect your responses to produce your scale readings and classification. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used, to improve the platform. If you purchase access, payment information is processed through Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

Your information runs the assessment and the tools attached to it: producing your readings and classification, delivering your report, generating your guided practices, and sending account updates. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

Your data is stored using industry standard encryption and access controls, hosted with established infrastructure providers. Access to personal data is restricted to the people who need it to operate the platform, and we review our security practices on a regular schedule.

Your responses, scale readings, classification and daily entries are personal to you and reachable only through your authenticated account. We do not share individual assessment data with other users or third parties. Aggregated and anonymized data may be used for research and to improve the scales.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you signed in. We may use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. Those tools do not collect personally identifiable information. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We use Stripe for payment processing and an email delivery service for account communications. Each has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read. We share only the minimum information those services need to function.

You can access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. Account information is editable from the Account page. To request a full export or deletion, write to hello@theikigaitest.com and we will respond within 24 to 48 hours.

We retain your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

The platform is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
